Information for Architects and Specifiers |

There are two ways to get information to assist in specification from Brystewood for your projects 1 Browse the Product Selector and tables for basic data sheets on core types in Adobe 8 pdf format including NBS specs which can be copied. Alternatively we can email the sheets in word format to allow copy and paste into bill pages. Some information such as maximum opening sizes is commercially sensitive so direct contact via telephone or email is advisable 2 Ask for a Visit from our Technical Services who will give advice on cost effect product solutions, design issues, structural openings, Fire Strategy and Building Regulations and finished samples Dual calls from Brystewood and Turentek (Ironmongery) are an efficient way of dealing with two industries in one meeting and helps with compatibility. |

Samples We offer around 80 different veneers and 1000s of laminates and many PVC colours. Most are available within a few days. Alternatively we have A4 samples of approximately 12 of the “current” favourites such as Canadian Maple , Black Walnut, Steamed Beech and Zebrano. Please ring or email for availability |

Site Surveys Existing buildings due for refurbishment can be visited for pre-tender stage input. Work to listed buildings and heavily ornate works often need advisory surveys. Excel based schedule can then be generated from such surveys for costing purposes.

Scheduling Assistance Brystewood can help with generating schedules normally in Microsoft Excel from floor plans. These would give handings, fire rated door types etc. For larger jobs we can issue out full schedules and L20 NBS spec and line drawings. We run AutoCAD 2004 where drawing elevations etc are needed, although we do already have a large bank of frame conditions , bead details and elevations. Email steve.cluff@brystewood.co.uk |

Drawing selector. An Excel based drawing selector is available to all architects on CD. It consists of a series of tabbed pages With various products on . By auto-filtering down to your requirements i.e. fire rating, face finish A short list of drawing for frame section, bead detail etc can be gained. Clicking on the links opens up adobe pdfs or CAD.dwg of the available sections. As this is commercial sensitive information an email from a recognized Architectural Practice or specifier is needed.
